He worked in various consumer businesses gaining experience in product definition, project management, market introduction management and general business management. Van Gurp practiced marketing in a highly international environment, with sales and distribution contacts in all regions. He managed multi-national teams in Europe and the USA for more than 15 years. Presently he is managing marketing and sales in DAY International, a company in the area of personal wellness.
